THE ROLE
The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of strategically important technology and product initiatives across multiple digital product channels. Working in close partnership with Product Managers and technical teams (engineering, product design, data and analytics), the role will drive endtoend delivery of complex initiatives, ensuring alignment to business strategy and product priorities. A core focus of the role is driving delivery while actively managing capacity and dependencies across teams operating in a fastpaced, productled environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Project Delivery

Lead the endtoend delivery of strategic crossproduct and functional projects from discovery through to release and operational handover

Translate product objectives into clear, achievable delivery plans across three product channels (commercial, apps and publishing)
Product & Technology Collaboration

Partner closely with Product Managers to align delivery plans with product roadmaps and feature priorities

Work daytoday with engineering, product design, data and analytics teams to coordinate feature delivery

Facilitate effective decisionmaking across product and technical stakeholders, balancing scope, time and quality
Delivery Governance & Execution

Define and maintain clear plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes

Actively manage delivery risks, issues and dependencies, escalating appropriately

Ensure delivery follows agreed governance, frameworks and ways of working

Provide clear, concise status reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums
Capacity & Resource Management

Actively manage team and crossteam capacity to ensure delivery commitments are realistic and sustainable

Work with technology and product leadership to support prioritisation and sequencing of work

Identify capacity constraints early and recommend options to balance demand and capability
Stakeholder & Communication Management

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Technology, Product, Editorial, Commercial and Data

Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and nontechnical audiences

Support shared understanding of delivery progress, constraints and tradeoffs
Skills & Experience
Essential Experience

Significant experience delivering complex technology or digital product initiatives in a crossfunctional environment

Proven ability to manage delivery across multiple teams and workstreams

Strong experience working alongside Product Managers and agile delivery teams

Demonstrated capability in capacity planning, resource management and prioritisation

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Formal Project Management certification
Desirable / Advantageous

Understanding of digital subscription revenue models and lifecycle (acquisition, retention, churn) and digital advertising models

Experience in a media, publishing or content organisation

Experience working within a productled or platform organisation
