Job Summary:
The Project Manager will have a strong technical background, proven project management skills, and the ability to drive successful project delivery from inception to completion. This role requires strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of electrical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of HV/MV electrical projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

Develop and implement project strategies, schedules, and risk management plans.

Manage project budgets, resources, and contractual obligations to ensure financial performance.

Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.

Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project execution.

Provide technical expertise and support during the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving challenges efficiently.

Report on project progress, KPIs, and deliverables to senior management.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of project management experience within HV/MV electrical engineering.

Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and national electrical regulations.

Experience in managing substation, transmission, and distribution projects.

Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar software.

Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets and forecasts.

Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CEng, or equivalent).

Experience in renewable energy, grid modernization, or smart grid projects.
