The Four Winds is a busy, well-established bar and restaurant in the heart of rural County Cork. We serve top-quality food 7 days a week, blending modern dishes with traditional Irish favourites, all made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
We’re currently seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and creative Commis Chef or Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment, working alongside our experienced Head Chef and culinary team.
Your Role Will Include:
- Assisting with food preparation and supporting daily kitchen operations
- Ensuring dishes are beautifully finished and consistently presented
- Helping to resolve any kitchen issues quickly and effectively
- Working closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards of food quality and consistency
- Following all hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
- Promoting a respectful, team-oriented atmosphere in the kitchen
What We’re Looking For:
- Ideally 1 year of kitchen experience (but full training will be provided for the right person)
- A strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure
- A positive, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
- An interest in current culinary trends and a willingness to learn
- Health & Safety and HACCP knowledge or certification (an advantage)
