Rapid Responder – North Dublin
Salary: €33,000 per year + €150 weekly mileage allowance + €1 per call travel allowance
Role Overview:
Kare Plan is seeking a full-time Rapid Responder to provide emergency home care support across North Dublin. This fast-paced role involves covering care calls when carers are unavailable, assisting with urgent hospital discharges, and delivering high-quality home care to clients in line with their care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency and last-minute care calls
- Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with light household duties
- Support with mobility, medication supervision, and transfers
- Observe clients’ wellbeing and report any concerns
- Follow client care plans and health & safety procedures
Working Pattern:
- Availability required between 8:00am and 9:00pm
- Rotating schedule:
o Week 1: 4/7 days
o Week 2: 5/7 days
Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (started or completed) or equivalent
- Full driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Reliable, compassionate, organised, and trustworthy
- Fluent spoken and written English
