David Nodwell Ltd is seeking an experienced Groundworker with concrete finishing capabilities to join our team.
The successful candidate should be comfortable carrying out general groundworks and producing concrete finishes to a high standard. Experience operating an excavator would be highly desirable but is not essential.
Key responsibilities:
- General groundworks and civil engineering duties
- Concrete placing, levelling and finishing
- Excavation, drainage, ducting and reinstatement works
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a site crew
- Following instructions from site supervisors and management
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Requirements:
- Previous groundworks experience
- Proven concrete finishing ability
- Valid Safe Pass
- Valid Manual Handling certificate
- Good understanding of site safety requirements
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
- Excavator experience and relevant plant certification would be a significant advantage
