Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site position suited to an experienced technician who is committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Prepare vehicles for NCT testing and complete any necessary repairs.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and identify potential issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop.
- Work efficiently while ensuring all work meets manufacturer and industry standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automotive mechanic.
- QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Motor Mechanic (or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full clean driving licence.
Hours
- 39-hour working week.
- 15 Minute Paid Break + 1 hour unpaid lunch.
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
- Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Optional overtime available, paid at time and a half, where available.
