We are a vibrant, customer-focused ice cream store known for our creative flavors and welcoming atmosphere. We’re seeking a passionate and organized Assistant Manager to support our Area Manager and lead our team in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Area Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing the store safely and efficiently.
- Manage cash handling, daily tills, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily prep work, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, stocked, and beautifully presented.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Support with inventory management, placing orders, and maintaining cleanliness of the shop.
- Manage social media accounts to promote products, engage with customers, and drive sales.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in retail or food service.
- Previous experience in ice cream or dessert establishments is a plus.
- Strong cash handling and POS system experience.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Creative with a flair for social media marketing and brand promotion.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Passion for customer service and a love for ice cream!
