We are seeking a reliable and professional Truck Driver to join our logistics team, responsible for the safe transport, delivery, and collection of flooring products between our warehouse, customer sites, trade customers, and supplier locations.
This role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service, ensuring all goods are delivered in line with warehouse dispatch instructions and all transport regulations are fully complied with.
Essential Requirements (Must Have)
- ✔ Valid Category C Driving Licence (HGV)
- ✔ Valid Driver CPC (up to date and in-date)
- ✔ Valid Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- ✔ Previous multi-drop delivery experience in Ireland (preferred)
- ✔ Strong awareness of road safety and compliance standards
Core Responsibilities
Deliveries & Collections
- Deliver flooring products to retail, trade, and construction sites nationwide
- Collect goods from customers, suppliers, and designated locations
- Ensure all deliveries match warehouse dispatch documentation
- Obtain and return Proof of Delivery (POD) for all completed drops
Loading & Dispatch Support
- Assist with loading vehicles in the warehouse when required
- Check loads against delivery paperwork before departure
- Ensure safe handling of flooring materials during loading/unloading
- Report discrepancies, damage, or missing items immediately
Vehicle Operation
- Operate company vehicles safely and in full compliance with road traffic regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects or issues
- Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicle
- Ensure loads are properly secured for transport
Warehouse Coordination
- Liaise with warehouse team regarding daily delivery schedules and priorities
- Follow dispatch instructions for timed or priority deliveries
- Communicate delays, delivery issues, or failed drops promptly
- Support efficient flow of goods from warehouse to customer
Documentation Control
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and return to warehouse
- Record and report delivery issues or discrepancies
- Ensure proper handover of signed documentation and PODs
Pay: €34,500.00-€41,000.00 per year
