We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Bar Person to join our Horse Show House team in Ballsbridge. With at least 8 years’ experience in the Irish bar trade, the successful candidate will take a leading role in day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth service, staff support, and excellent customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Help manage and oversee the running of the bar during shifts.
- Serve drinks to a high standard with speed and accuracy
- Supervise, train, and support junior bar staff
- Help your line manager monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and HACCP requirements
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly and in line with company policy and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally
- Contribute to promotions and initiatives to drive sales
- Support the Horse Show House management team.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ bar trade experience in Ireland or similar market
- Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and cellar management
- Knowledge of customer booking systems preferable.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- Fully Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when your roster requires it.
- Applicants must have full permission to work in Ireland – Stamp 2 visas are not eligible (role requires over 20 hours per week)

- Fluent English will be required.
What We Offer
- Salary will depend on level of experience.
