The Harbour Hotel is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional and enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment while delivering excellent service to our guests.
The Role
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient bar service, preparing and serving a range of beverages and ensuring our guests receive a consistently high standard of service.
Please note: Applicants must be available to work night shifts during the week (Monday–Thursday), as well as having flexibility to work weekends when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
- Provide friendly, professional and attentive service to guests
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the bar menu, drinks and promotions
- Process orders and payments accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and responsible service procedures
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure a great guest experience
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bar or hospitality experience is preferred
- Must be available to work nights during midweek
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- A positive attitude and genuine interest in hospitality
