Nanny Role - Naas, Co. Kildare
About the role:
The Nanny will care for 3 children aged 5, aged 10 & aged 11
One of the children, aged 10 has special needs (Pit Hopkins), is non verbal and will need one to one support.
The ideal candidate will have experience with children with special needs and have a qualification to support their skills (QQI/FETAC Level 5 or 6 or SNA)
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- The Nanny will be responsible for occasional drop off’s and pick ups for children
- It will be the Nanny’s responsibility to keep the common area e.g., kitchen / family room & the children’s bedrooms clean and tidy and organised
- The Nanny will assist the children with homework and development activities
- This role requires the Nanny to provide healthy & nutritious snacks and meals for the children
- Ironing, laundry and light housework is also a part of the role when the children are in school
- The Nanny will be expected to arrange various interesting development & educational activities and be proactive (weekly activities such as walks, playground, picnics, creative arts & crafts, baking, games etc) This is hugely important.
- Care for and mind the children, ensuring they are safe always
- Occasional Babysitting and occasional overnight may be required
- Running errands as required
- This role requires flexibility for the Nanny and Family to work together for unforeseen situations and events

Skills Profile:
- Must have qualification(s) in Childcare QQI/FETAC Level 5 or 6 or SNA
- Minimum of two years’ experience
- Up to date First Aid and Garda Vetting
- Full clean drivers’ licence and own car

Pay: €38,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
