We’re looking for a new General Manager to join the team at The Hole in the Wall Bar.
We’re a busy, well-established city centre bar with a great team, and we’re looking for an experienced hospitality manager who’s ready to take the lead. We want someone who enjoys the buzz of a busy bar, knows how to get the best out of their team, and takes pride in creating a great atmosphere and experience for customers.

The Role
The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the smooth and successful running of the venue, including:
Managing and motivating the front-of-house team
Overseeing daily bar operations and service standards
Staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management
Controlling labour costs, stock, wastage, and overall operational costs
Managing stock ordering and supplier relationships
Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance
Driving sales and identifying opportunities to grow the business
Working closely with ownership on budgets, targets, and business performance
Ensuring all licensing, health & safety, and operational procedures are followed
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a General Manager or senior hospitality management role is essential
Strong experience in a busy bar, pub, or hospitality environment
Excellent leadership and people-management skills
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of costs, margins, and profitability
Confident managing a large team and a busy operation
Highly organised, reliable, and hands-on
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Someone who takes ownership of the business and leads from the front
What’s In It For You?
