Job Description
We are a small practice based in Howth Dublin 13 with a pragmatic approach and with a wide variety of projects including Community Care Centres, Apartments, Residential Developments, Private Residential, Repurposing/Refurbishing, Retail and Hospitality.
This is a full-time, in office role for a Senior Architectural Technologist located in Howth Dublin 13. Hybrid working will be considered. The Senior Architectural Technologist will be responsible for managing detailed technical drawings, preparing working and construction drawings, preparing planning Applications and Fire Safety Certificates. and ensuring accurate architectural documentation. Additional tasks include coordinating with design teams, clients, contractors and on-site to ensure projects meet high-quality standards and are delivered on time.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Architectural Technology and Technical Drawing
- Strong skills in preparing Planning Drawings, Architectural Drawings, and Construction Drawings
- Proven ability to translate design concepts into precise technical documentation
- Excellent understanding of Irish Building Regulations and construction processes
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, or similar tools
- Minimum of a diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field
- 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
- Site experience advantageous
- Full driving licence desirable
- Currently based in Ireland and eligible to work
