Greenhill Nursing Home is seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Assistant to join our team on a full time basis.
This role is essential in helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene throughout the nursing home.

Carry out cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, polishing, mopping, and waste disposal.

Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, appliances, and equipment.

Follow infection control procedures and report any defects, hazards, or maintenance issues.

Support a homely, respectful, and person-centred environment for residents.

Assist management during audits and inspections as required.
Requirements

Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards.

Ability to work safely and follow health & safety procedures.

Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.

Previous experience in a residential care setting is desirable.

A positive attitude and commitment to supporting older people.

Desirable Training
