Job Description:
DPD Clare are looking for experienced Night Operations Team Leader with a Full Clean Driving License to join their busy team in Newmarket On Fergus, Co. Clare. The ideal candidate will have worked within a logistics/warehouse business previously
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Opening up the depot
- Monitoring the night sort and ensuring all procedures are followed correctly
- Ensure parcels and goods are correctly categorised by route or location
- Ensure parcels are loaded onto to the correct vehicles
- Ensure parcels are labeled and scanned properly
- Monitor PPE Compliance, Clear hazards and conduct equipment
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- In charge of weekly rosters for night sorters
- Perform any other general warehousing duties as assigned
Key Skills for this job:
- An energetic, physically fit individual, flexible & punctual, hands on and organised
- Current clean drivers license
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Fluent English Speaker - Essential - Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
- Manual Handling Training - desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- Forklift Training - desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Flexi Time Contract approximately 25hrs per week
Rate of Pay = €15.00per hour
Pay: From €15.00 per hour
