We're looking for someone who is equal parts organiser and creator. Someone who loves social media, enjoys telling stories through photo and video, understands online trends, and is excited to help grow a vibrant creative community.
This role is approximately 50% content creation and marketing, and 50% studio operations and administration.
The Role
This is a full time role, some evening and weekend work. As a Studio Assistant & Content Creator, you will help bring Segotia to life both online and in person. This is an in person role, no remote working available.
You will be responsible for creating engaging content across Instagram and TikTok, capturing the energy of our community through photography and video, while also helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the studio.

Content Creation & Marketing (Approx. 50%)Content Creation
- Create engaging photo and video content for Instagram and TikTok.
- Capture classes, workshops, exhibitions, events and community moments.
- Edit short-form video content including Reels and TikToks.
- Create content that reflects the Segotia brand and community.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, formats and best practices.
- Develop ideas for content that increases awareness, engagement and sales.
Social Media Management
- Plan and schedule content across Instagram and TikTok.
- Publish content consistently throughout the week.
- Monitor social media performance and identify what is and isn't working.
- Track key metrics including reach, engagement, website traffic and conversions.
- Support marketing and advertising campaigns for workshops, memberships, classes, events, coffee dock, etc.
- Assist with email marketing and promotional campaigns when required.
Studio Operations + Administration (Approx. 50%)Front of House
- Welcome students, artists, visitors and residents at reception - offering a tour, answering questions, making them feel welcome, check them in for classes.
- Respond to enquiries via email, phone and social media.
- Provide information on classes, memberships, workshops and studio facilities.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the studio
- Set up the yoga studio with attention to all the details
Facility Support
- Ensure common areas remain clean, welcoming and well stocked.
- Conduct regular facility checks and report maintenance issues.
- Light cleaning of the yoga studio, kitchen, bathrooms and common areas.
Bookings & Systems
- Become proficient in BSport and WordPress.
- Set up workshops, events, classes, etc.
- Support booking enquiries and customer requests.
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
Events & Workshops
- Assist with the setup and running of workshops, events and exhibitions.
- Provide support to facilitators, artists, guests and students.
- Help create a welcoming and inviting event experience.
Resident Support
- Support studio residents with day-to-day enquiries and requests.
- Help foster a positive community atmosphere.
Gallery & Creative Programming
- Assist with exhibition installation and gallery presentation.
- Support artists and facilitators as required.
- Help ensure the space remains visually inspiring and engaging.
Administration
- Responsible for petty cash, receipts and online ordering for the studio.
- Attend weekly team meetings including social media meetings.
- Continuously look for ways to improve systems and processes.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the team on projects and initiatives.
- Contribute ideas to support the growth and success of Segotia.
General Support
- Undertake additional tasks as required to support the ongoing development of the studio.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok.
- Comfortable filming, editing and publishing short-form video content.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Friendly, proactive and reliable.
Desirable
- Experience using Canva, CapCut, WordPress and similar tools.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand.
- Understanding of content analytics and social media performance.
- Experience working in hospitality, events, arts, wellness or community spaces.
- Interest in yoga, creativity, art, culture or community building.

Hours & Opportunity
- Full Time. 40 hours per week.
- Flexibility will be required from time to time to support events, workshops and special projects.
- Mainly mid week hours, with some weekend and evening work required. You will be required to work at least one weekend per month.
