Intelvision is looking for a skilled Lead Python Engineer,.
About the project:
A multi-tenant SaaS product that integrates with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams), Jira, and uses AI for standup automation. The product automates meeting documentation, generates actionable insights, and helps development teams improve collaboration, planning, and delivery. As a Lead Python Engineer, you’ll have a direct impact on the product’s technical direction and architecture.
Responsibilities:
— End-to-end delivery readiness;
— Quality and handover standards;
— Take ownership of code quality, scalability, performance, maintainability and responsibility of the feature;
— Hands-on development – actively building features and contributing to the codebase;
— Technical ownership – architecture, key decisions, code quality;
— Delivery – breaking down tasks and ensuring timely, high-quality output;
— Stakeholder communication – translating business needs into technical solutions;
— Problem solving – resolving complex issues and removing blockers;
Requirements:
— 5+ years of experience with Python in backend development;
— Previous experience in a Tech Lead or Team Lead role;
— Strong hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework, including designing and building scalable, high-load APIs;
— Solid experience with asynchronous processing using Celery and Redis, including queues, retries and error handling;
— Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization, indexing and performance tuning;
— Experience with FastAPI and real-time communication using WebSockets;
— Experience integrating authentication and authorization systems (OIDC / OAuth2 / SSO);
— Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments, as well as cloud platforms (Azure preferred or similar);
— Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) and working with container registries;
— Understanding of microservices or modular architecture principles, with experience working in monorepo environments being a plus;
— Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset and ability to make independent technical decisions;
— Experience improving fast-growing codebases and driving technical initiatives;
— Experience with code reviews, mentoring and collaboration in cross-functional teams;
— Strong architectural thinking and ability to balance business and technical priorities;
— Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
— English – B2+ or higher;
Would be a plus:
— Experience with React;
— Experience working on SaaS products;
— Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM-based features into applications is a strong plus;
