We are currently recruiting a Painter & Decorator to join our Maintenance Team.
This role is key to ensuring our property is maintained to a high standard, creating a safe, comfortable and well-presented environment for guests and staff.
Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday - Weekends off

8.00am - 4.30pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities
-
Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works across the property

Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, filling, priming, cleaning)

Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper and other finishes using appropriate tools and equipment
-
Complete minor repairs to walls, ceilings, woodwork and fixtures prior to decorating
-
Conduct routine inspections and identify areas requiring repair or redecoration
-
Maintain tools, materials and workspaces in a clean and safe condition

Follow all health & safety procedures when using equipment, ladders and materials

Work closely with the wider maintenance team on general upkeep and projects
-
Assist with other general maintenance duties as required
Requirements
-
Previous experience in painting & decorating or general maintenance
-
Good attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Strong awareness of health & safety practices

Reliable, organised and proactive approach

Ability to work across multiple properties within the hotel group in the Athlone region
