We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our small warehouse team. The role involves the loading and unloading of furniture onto delivery lorries and vans on a daily basis, as well as ensuring the warehouse remains clean, tidy, and well-organized. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate stock placement and assisting with recycling processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safely and efficiently unloading containers and verifying deliveries against dockets.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety standards.
- Planning ahead and multitasking to meet deadlines and support team objectives.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Performing light furniture assembly as required.
- Occasionally working off-site when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well as part of a small, close-knit team. Manual Handling and Safe Pass certificates are advantageous, though full training will be provided. A Forklift Truck License would also be a bonus.
Salary is dependent on experience.
