Located in the heart of Cork City Centre, Moxy and Residence Inn are hiring an Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team!
Position Summary
We are now recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team and support the day-to-day financial operations of both hotels.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join our team and gain exposure to full hotel finance processes, and develop a long-term career within hospitality.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant will support finance activity across both properties, including:
- Processing purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders
- Reconciling supplier statements and supporting payment runs
- Assisting with accounts receivable, invoicing and credit control
- Supporting daily revenue checks and income auditing
- Assisting with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records across both sites
- Supporting audits, brand standards, and internal controls
- Providing general finance administration support
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
· Previous experience in hotel finance, accounts administration, or a similar role.
· Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
· Good Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
· Ability to work to deadlines in a busy hotel environment.
· Strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable
· Knowledge of hotel PMS, POS, and finance systems.
· Interest in building a long-term finance career within hospitality.
