Blackwater Motors Volkswagen Cork City is currently recruiting for a qualified Service Technician to join our team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and servicing vehicles within our Service Department. You will be expected to deliver work of the highest standard, in line with manufacturer specifications and the processes and standards set out by the Blackwater Motors Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to the highest standards and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Use diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to accurately identify and rectify vehicle faults.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest vehicle technologies and the appropriate diagnostic and repair procedures.
- Complete all relevant service documentation using our paperless process through the Tech Plus app.
- Maintain a high-quality work ethic, with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrate strong communication and IT skills, including the ability to identify and clearly explain additional work required. Use our online Vehicle Health Check (VHC) system to record videos and photographs where necessary.

- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring consistently high-quality workmanship.
- A full, valid driving licence is essential.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across departments and respond effectively to their requirements.
- Capable of managing your own time and workload efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
- Present a consistently professional image through your attitude, behaviour, and personal appearance when dealing with both internal and external customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Pay: €28,300.00-€52,350.20 per year
