Role Overview
We are a growing company looking for a reliable and skilled carpenter to join our team. Our work involves domestic, heritage and commercial projects, including renovations, retrofits, maintenance and general carpentry work.
This is a site-based role responsible for a wide range of works such as first and second fix carpentry, slabbing, window fitting and general building work, and requires attention to detail to ensure all works have a high-quality finish.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, punctual and able to work as a part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first and second fix carpentry
- Respond to and implement changes as needed
- Work along side and manager subcontractors where needed
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines and procedures
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Report any and all accidents, incidents, and non-conformances
- Use and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively
Key Requirements
- Safe Pass
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Pervious Experience
- Own transportation
- Own tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good level of written and spoken English
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
Pay: €23.00-€28.00 per hour
