Energywise Ireland is seeking a proactive and organised Human Resources Administrator to join our growing team in Ballyduff, Co. Kerry. This role will provide administrative support across recruitment, HR operations, employee training and development, and general HR administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an excellent employee experience, ensuring HR processes run efficiently, and taking ownership of recruitment activities for entry-level and junior positions across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Support end‑to‑end recruitment across office, site and operational roles.
- Draft and update job descriptions in line with business needs.
- Post roles, screen CVs, conduct initial candidate pre‑screens and coordinate interviews.
- Prepare job offers, contracts and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including systems access, documentation and induction support.
- Maintain accurate recruitment and employee records throughout the hiring process.
- Provide day‑to‑day HR administrative and employee relations support.
- Assist with offboarding processes, including exit documentation and system updates.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, leave and payroll changes.
- Assist with policy implementation and updates in line with Irish employment legislation.
- Manage company workwear processes, including ordering, issuing, stock control and maintaining accurate records.
- Support leave administration, employee queries, HR projects and company-wide HR initiatives.
- Assist with employment permit administration and other compliance-related activities where required.
- Coordinate training administration and employee documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager and wider management team, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
- Assist with internal communications relating to HR processes and updates.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a HR Administrative, HR Officer or Recruitment‑focused HR role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting recruitment and day‑to‑day HR operations.
- Knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
- HR qualification or relevant third-level qualification is advantageous.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced or scaling organisation is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with employees and managers at all levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); HR systems experience an advantage.
- Experience using HR software or HRIS systems is desirable.
- Full clean driving licence and ability to travel occasionally between company locations if required.
