The successful candidate will become part of a professional management team overseeing a busy hotel with accommodation, restaurant, weddings, conferences, events, and leisure facilities, delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout the year.
Position Details
- Position: Duty Manager
- Location: Galway Region, West of Ireland
- Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Salary: €35,000 Gross Per Annum
- Hours: 39 Hours Per Week
- Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operation and management of the hotel.
- Act as Manager on Duty during scheduled shifts.
- Assist in the management of Front Office, Food & Beverage, Accommodation, Events, and Guest Services.
- Deliver and maintain exceptional guest service standards.
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Supervise and motivate operational teams across departments.
- Support staff training, coaching, and performance development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety procedures.
- Assist with weddings, conferences, banqueting, and leisure operations.
- Maintain effective communication between all hotel departments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Front Office Supervisor, Food & Beverage Supervisor, or a similar hospitality leadership role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent customer service and guest relations experience.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to perform effectively in a busy hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable.
- An EU passport or legal permission to work in Ireland.
