Restaurant Supervisor
Devoys Hotel in Johnstown Co. Kildare is now hiring a full time Resyaurant Supervisor to join the opening team.
Please note that this is a hands on role working on a shift basis 5 days out of 7 days.
The successful candidate will help to manage the day to day running of the department.
The Restaurant supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the following tasks are preformed to the highest standards.
· Ensuring the smooth running of the department and staff within.
· Aiding the manager in all activities of the restaurant staff that are on duty and ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and perform all duties to the highest of standards.
· Daily checking of standards through the shift.
· Evaluate guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on ways to continuously improve the guest experience.
· Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas.
· Assist other departments wherever necessary.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
· Previous experience as a server or supervisor in a busy 4-star environment.
· The ability to prioritise and delegate work..
· Flexibility with regards to hours of work
· Good command of the English language – written as well as spoken.
· Excellent self-presentation, be standards driven and detail-orientated.
· The ability to handle demanding situations and work well under time constraints.
Job Type: Full-time
