You’ll lead two types of tour, and full training is provided for both:
Premium Tour (afternoons, approx. 2 hours): Guide guests on a walk through the city, share a few stories, bring them into a private trad music session with dinner, teach them to pour their own pint, and finish with a Polaroid keepsake.
Trad Crawl (evenings, Mondays & Thursdays, 8:15pm, approx. 2 hours): Lead guests around four pubs with a pint pour, live trad music, and a Polaroid keepsake.
Shifts are mostly weekdays (Monday to Friday) with the occasional Saturday.
What we’re looking for
- Confident and comfortable speaking to groups
- Warm, friendly, and great with people
- Reliable and punctual (this matters most to us)
- Genuine interest in Galway, its culture, and its stories
- Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland
- Tour guiding experience a bonus, but not essential, we train you fully
