Develop and implement HR policies and frameworks that support the Group's growth
Support the Group’s growth and ensure consistency across all divisions. Manage end-to-end payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with Revenue requirements. Ensure ongoing compliance with Irish and UK employment legislation, including WRC codes of practice.
- Lead recruitment across the Group — from workforce planning and role design through to sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
Design and oversee a performance management system that drives accountability and aligns individual objectives with business goals. Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, managing grievances, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations. Contribute HR knowledge and operational support to Savvy People’s recruitment activities, strengthening client delivery while generating internal efficiencies.
What you will actually do:
- Manage payroll administration (BrightPay) and payroll coordination with the finance team ensuring accuracy & timely processing of monthly payroll.
- Employee Relations, Handling any HR issues — disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, wellbeing initiatives — across all group entities.
- Performance & Appraisals : Running the group's performance review cycle, supporting line managers across the different companies with appraisal processes and goal-setting.
- Ensure employment law compliance such as WRC/Legislative requirements.
- Own the group recruitment process to fill positions efficiently with quality candidates.
- Manage staff onboarding and probation, ensuring new hires are properly inducted and assessed
- Monitor sickness and absence, identify attendance issues and respond accordingly.
- Update, maintain and implement team related policies and procedures throughout the group
- Conduct staff 1:1 meetings or support division leaders in doing so to maintain staff engagement
- Workflow planning with the CEO and finance team to plan headcount needs across all companies forecasting where new hires are needed as the group grows, and identifying where roles overlap across entities.
- Forecasting of performance appraisals and wages increases along with timing.
- Contribute HR expertise to Savvy People operations, support candidate assessment with compliance advisory.
- Manage IT Liaison with MSP (tickets, escalations, authorisations) ensure IT issues are raised and resolved promptly
You are right for this if you have:
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, and support change management initiatives.
- A relevant third-level degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. CIPD accreditation (Associate or Chartered) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5–10 years in a HR role, with demonstrable experience handling complex employee relations, and implementing HR strategy across multiple divisions.
- Strong business awareness to align HR strategy with organizational targets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for policy drafting and negotiation.
- Ability to interpret data to measure the effectiveness of people operations.
