The Blink group is a highly successful, Dublin based nationwide marketing and events agency. We are home to: Blink Digital, Blink Staffing, Wow Marketing, Blink Christmas, Propbox and Robot Networks.
The Blink Group operates multiple businesses in the dynamic marketing and event space, headquartered at our office/warehouse on the Long Mile Road in Dublin 12. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-time Bookkeeper/Office Administrator.
Responsibilities:
· Preparation of bookkeeping records, including sales, purchases, and bank transactions
· Accurate processing and coding of invoices
· Allocation of customer receipts
· Processing staff expenses
· Creditors/Debtors/Bank reconciliations
· Preparing and submitting VAT returns
· PAYE reconciliations
· Preparing and posting month-end journals and statements
· Preparation of accounts to trial balance
· Processing payroll, VAT, & RCT
· Experience with Xero Accounting Systems and Bright Pay Systems
· HR experience
· Proficiency in Excel
· Monthly cash flow and projections
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
· At least 3 years' experience in a general accounts role
· Previous experience in a bookkeeping/payroll role
· Knowledge of accounting software
· Familiarity with the Irish tax systems and reliefs
· Excellent attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work to and manage deadlines.
· Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the role
· Experience with Xero Accounting package (an advantage)
· HR experience (an advantage)
· Proficient in Excel
