Our client, a busy FMCG company based in Navan – now seek a Depot Administrator to join their team.
Main responsibilities include:
Stock/Systems
- Ensure accuracy of stock by timely landing of stock and raising internal transfers between Navan and storage daily
- Liaise with Buying Support in the UK on delivery or quality issues
- Dry Goods Inventory & Purchasing
- Assist Depot Manager with stock reconciliations, including root cause analysis and processing adjustments
- Ensure credit notes are processed daily (both for Stock and Pricing)
- Maintain Health & Safety and Food Safety Systems
Deliveries
- Check Pick Sheet against Prep List
- Print Route Sheets and Invoices for Drivers
- Maintain Odyssey App Delivery System
- Finalise each route at the end of the day.
- Booking Hotels for Driver Overnight Deliveries
Sales Ledger
- Ensuring Daily Banking is completed in timely manner by acting as holiday cover as required
- Perform daily cash counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare bank deposits, ensuring cash is securely transported to the bank.
- Maintain accurate records of all cash and banking transactions.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or irregularities in cash handling.
- Allocate receipt of payments to customer accounts (BACs and Cash), liaising with Telesales team regarding any queries
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as an Administrator, or relevant role
- Stock/Inventory Control Experience
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Familiar with finance and accounting principles
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude
- Positive attitude, deals with challenge & change.
- Strong Numerical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment .
- Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues and other departments
Hours : Mon-Fri 8-4pm
