We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our growing team in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day site operations across multiple construction projects.
Supervise site personnel, engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.
Coordinate project resources, including labour, materials, plant, and equipment.
Maintain regular communication with clients, consultants, local authorities, and stakeholders.
Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Prepare project reports, progress updates, forecasts, and site documentation.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise delays and cost overruns.
Manage procurement activities and support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
Oversee temporary and permanent works, ensuring all required approvals and certifications are obtained.
Mentor and support junior engineers and site staff, promoting professional development.
Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.
Ensure all permits, licences, and statutory requirements are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with project valuations, measurements, and cost control activities in collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Membership of a relevant professional engineering institution is desirable.
Chartered Engineer status or progression towards chartership is advantageous.
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
At least 2 years of experience in a Site Agent or equivalent leadership role.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, project planning, and site management practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
Full clean EU/Irish driving licence.
Authorised to work in Ireland (Stamp 4, Critical Skills Permit, or equivalent work authorisation).
Pay: €53,074.31-€82,768.66 per year
