We are seeking an experienced Site Manager / Site Agent to join our civil engineering team in Maynooth, Kildare.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure smooth project delivery
Supervise and coordinate site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships
Plan and allocate resources including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors
Monitor project progress, programme, quality, and costs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards (HSQE)
Attend site meetings and provide regular progress reports
Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications
Manage changes, variations, and project documentation
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting of projects
Ensure permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements are in place
Support and mentor junior engineering and site staff
Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities
Coordinate with procurement and purchasing teams
Measure and value completed works in collaboration with commercial teams
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
5–8 years’ experience in civil engineering/site engineering roles
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Site Agent or Site Management position
Membership of a professional engineering institution (or working towards chartership)
Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction processes
Full clean EU/Irish driving licence
Eligible to work in Ireland (e.g. Stamp 4, Critical Skills Visa, or equivalent)
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Pay: €53,074.31-€82,768.66 per year
