IT Support Technician
PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team. Working as part of a busy IT function, the successful candidate will provide first-line technical support to employees across the business while assisting with the day-to-day administration of IT systems, hardware and software. This is a varied, hands-on role, offering the opportunity to develop technical skills, troubleshoot IT issues, support users with technology-related queries and contribute to the efficient operation of the Company's IT services.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide first-line IT support to employees via phone, email and in person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer and basic network issues, escalating more complex issues where appropriate
- Set up laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices and other IT equipment to all users across multiple sites both home and abroad
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees by preparing devices, creating user accounts and assigning system access
- Install, configure and maintain software applications and operating systems
- Support employees with Microsoft 365 applications and other business systems
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment and software licences
- Assist with routine maintenance, system updates and security checks
- Produce and maintain IT documentation and user guides
- Work closely with the IT team to support projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Deliver a professional, friendly and responsive IT support service to employees across the business
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in an IT Support, Help Desk or Service Desk environment, desirable
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications, essential
- Experience using an IT help desk or ticketing system would be advantageous
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
- Familiarity with computer hardware, printers, mobile devices and peripheral equipment
- Valid visa / citizenship to work in Ireland

Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
