We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Accounts Administrator to join the Commercial team in Tralee. This role supports the day-to-day administration of commercial lines insurance accounts for the team. The successful candidate will work closely with account executives and clients to ensure efficient, compliant, and accurate processing of insurance documentation, policy renewals, quotes, and queries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue new business documents, mid-term alterations, renewals, and cancellations for commercial lines.
- Liaise with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotes, confirm cover, and resolve queries.
- Support clients by providing clear information about policy terms, coverage, and documentation requirements.
- Escalate complex queries or claims to the appropriate account executive or manager.
- Assist with preparing commercial insurance quotes, comparing cover and premiums.
- Liaise with executives to ensure all covers meet the client’s needs.
- Monitor renewal lists/age debt/offered/pending reports for executives.
- General administrative duties.
- Comply with CBI, CICA, GDPR regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
- At least 2 years’ experience in similar role.
- Hold a commercial insurance qualification.
- Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Have excellent communication & relationship building skills.
- Have proven ability to deal with problems and solve them effectively and efficiently.
- Have good product & market knowledge.
- Be a good team player who is highly motivated & enthusiastic.
