We are looking to recruit a chef / cook to work in our Churchtown centre on a part-time basis, 4 hours per day, from early September. We are an Early Years service offering high-quality, child-focused care in Churchtown, Dublin 14 for the last 28 years. We are very proud of our team, and are looking for an enthusiastic person to join us in the centre of our creche, the kitchen. Feeding our children healthy and nutritious meals everyday is so important, and we place a high value on our chef's role.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education/ Childcare is desirable but not necessary; the ideal candidate would have a qualification and be able to help with lunch-time cover in care rooms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide nutritious, tasty meals by following a two-week menu.
- Prepare and serve all meals and snacks.
- Clean up after all meals and snacks.
- Fill out all relevant HAACP forms.
- Ensure a very high standard of hygiene and cleaniness, in preparation for inspection.
- Ensure all food is stored appropriately and according to best of dates.
- Be aware of any allergens and adjust meals accordingly.
