The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall planning, organisation, and coordination of warehouse operations in our Kerry location, ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Leading a team of approximately 15 warehouse staff, the Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfilment, dispatch, and stock control. The role is responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company policies and procedures.
Working closely with the Sales, Purchasing, and Finance departments, the Warehouse Manager is a hands-on role managing staff, Health & Safety, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Kerry warehouse. The role will also focus on driving continuous improvement, the timely fulfilment of customer requirements, and developing the warehouse team to achieve high levels of performance and efficiency.
The Warehouse Manager will report to HR Director.
Job duties and responsibilities
· Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring all operational activities are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
· Provide leadership and direction to the warehouse team, ensuring tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
· Set clear performance objectives and KPIs for warehouse staff, conducting regular reviews to support continuous improvement.
· Monitor warehouse processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to improve operational performance.
· Plan and coordinate inventory levels to ensure the timely availability of stock to support daily production schedules.
· Improve operational efficiency by implementing processes that reduce errors, minimise product damage, and enhance productivity.
· Build effective working relationships with internal departments to support efficient warehouse operations and customer service.
· Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
· Manage the end-to-end flow of goods through the warehouse, from receipt and storage to order fulfilment and dispatch.
Key requirements
· 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
· Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing a team of more than 10.
· Ability to work effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment.
· Good communication and team management skills.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
· Excellent IT skills. Sage 200 an advantage but not essential.
· Proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
· Full, clean driver’s license.

Pay: €50,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
