Obair are looking to recruit an experienced Afterschool Assistant to join our team of dedicated childcare professionals in Newmarket on Fergus.
This position will be part time during school term (20 hours per week) with our after school facility between the times of 2.00pm and 6.00pm Monday to Friday and Full Time out of school term (40 Hours per week) between the times 9.00am and 6.00pm
Role
Your role would include catering for the needs of the after school children, collecting them from school, assisting with homework, serving snacks, setting up activities for the children, liaising with parents and guardians, general paperwork and housekeeping duties.

Requirements of Childcare Assistant:
- QQI Level 5 qualification (or recognised equivalent) in a relevant area is desired but not essential
- Experience is desired but not essential
- Candidates must provide 2 x written references and copy of qualification certificates.
- Candidate details will be submitted for Garda Vetting.
- International Vetting required if candidate has lived outside of the jurisdiction for a period of 3 months or more.
