Job Description
Fatima Children’s Day Care is one of the core projects provided by the Family Resource Centre which is managed by Fatima Groups United. The creche serves families in Fatima / Herberton and the surrounding community.
- Up to 40 hours per week
- A minimum of QQI Level 6 or minimum QQI level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education
- Proficient knowledge in child development theories and practices
- Implement the curriculum and routine within the Centre in line with current and updated frameworks
- To fill in and maintain the appropriate records.
- To attend all meetings and training as required eg staff meetings, team development.
- Full knowledge and awareness of relevant and current childcare legislation
- Capacity to implement childcare practice in line with organizational policies and procedures.
- To promote good health, safety and hygiene standards within the crèche and to follow all policies and procedures when dealing with same
- Respect all parents, children and families.
