Do you love dogs? Do you want to work with dogs but don’t know how to get started? Positive Dog Training has been loving, teaching, grooming and caring for dogs for over 14 years!
We are currently looking for 1 exceptional person to join our team. You will share your day with great no-drama team members who care deeply about providing an optimal experience for our four-legged clients.
Daycare is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am through to 6.30 pm. Hours will be rostered weekly.
Positive Dog Training is a positive reinforcement facility. That doesn’t mean we never say no. It means we teach dogs (and people!) by rewarding the behaviours we prefer. If you have a preference for compulsion-based training we probably are not a good fit.
This challenging job is a great opportunity to learn about dogs and their behaviour.
The person we are looking for should be able to demonstrate that they are serious in pursuing a career with dogs, ideally some animal care qualification and some hands on experience. Prior animal handling experience a huge plus.

1 - You must be available and able to travel to our centre for a start time of 7.15 am! Whether you use public transport or have your own car, you must be available to do the early shifts and be in Dublin 18 on time.
2 - We do not have any part-time/job-sharing positions available. If you are unable to work a 40-hour week over 5 days please do not apply this time. We can not faciliate weekend work or after school hours at the moment.
3 - Hourly rate is based on experience, animal care education and how you do during your probation.
4 - Spoken & written English essential.
