There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy available. The Primary Location of the post is Hawthorns Grove, Stillorgan and Secondary Location iscxbv Bray Civic Centre, Bray, Co Wicklow. (No travel time or payment applies to going from home to either base location).
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Candidate Clinical Nurse Specialist (cCNS) Intellectual Disabilities Positive Behavioural Support from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled for RHA Dublin & South East.
All applicants will be given the opportunity, at the time of application, to indicate an IHA preference area.

Candidates successful at interview will be placed on the regional panel in order of merit.
Where vacancies arise, posts will be expressed to the panel as follows:
1. IHA Preference Area
Vacancies will initially be expressed to candidates who have selected the IHA preference area in which the vacancy arises, in order of merit.
2. Regional Panel
Where a vacancy remains unfilled, an expression of interest will then be issued to the full regional panel, in order of merit, regardless of IHA preference
Please note that the preference area cannot be changed once the application has been submitted.

- Specialist knowledge in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, including complex health needs, dual diagnoses and behavioural challenges.
- A thorough understanding of evidence-based interventions, health promotion, and advocacy within the context of intellectual disability services is required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, mentorship, supervision and support to the clinical team.
- Experience in service development, quality improvement and implementation of best practice guidelines
