As TWM Waste Operative (WO), you'll be a member of Indaver's Total Waste Management Team based on the Zoetis Site in Wicklow
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle the in-house pick-up of diverse waste at the site and bring this to a central location (waste handling room).
- Carry out loading and unloading activities.
- Treat the waste so that it can be further transported to the processing facility: sorting, packing, bulking, repackaging.
- Manage the identification and storage of the waste in accordance with the prevailing regulations.
- Responsible for the planning and registration of waste removal such that the processing takes place according to agreements with the customer.
- Handle the administration such that the transport can take place properly and on time.
- Comply with safety procedures and instructions in order to ensure a safe workplace for all.
- Keep the workplace orderly & neat so that work can be done safely.
Experience & Qualifications Required
- Leaving cert or equivalent 1-2 years experience in waste management or relevant. waste experience in Pharma/Production Petro-Chemical environments.
- Hazardous Waste Management or Environmental knowledge an advantage.
- Forklift license / Safe Pass / Manual Handling an advantage.
- Be able to work well on your own or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail is important / Accuracy Good communication skills.
