The nurse selected will be part of our clinical care team and will become familiar with the provision of various aspects of general healthcare to our patients. They will operate under the supervision of the Senior Nurse Manager and see patients from a defined daily list via our patient rostering platform. They will be expected to work closely and liaise with the other Ayrfield clinical staff (i.e. Nurses/Doctors) in respect of clinical care provided to our patients. Clincal sessions will normally be spent working in our primary care centre in Ayrfield Medical Practice (Granges Road, Kilkenny).
Here in Ayrfield Medical Practice we have a very good support structures and clinical advice is provided within the practice for all new staff. It would be essential that the nurse applying would have good IT skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word. Excel, Outlook). It would be desirable if the the nurse has previous experience working in a primary care centre which will be rewarded with a higher rate of pay. The nurse selected will be expected to work a thirty-two (32) hour week which is normally worked over a four (4) day period.
This is a maternity cover short term contract with a fourteen (14) month contract term and commencing in Sept '26.
