QA Test Automation Engineer

Mobile App | Hybrid | Contract

We’re looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer to help shape the quality of a high-usage mobile app used by passengers every day. This is an automation-first role for someone who enjoys building scalable test coverage, improving release confidence, and partnering closely with product and engineering teams.

What you’ll be doing

Own and scale mobile automation frameworks using Appium and WebdriverIO.
Build reliable automated test suites for core journeys, regression, and integration flows.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to support fast feedback and smoother releases.
Validate app performance across iOS and Android, including devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.
Test APIs and backend integrations to ensure end-to-end data consistency.
Carry out targeted exploratory testing to complement automation and catch edge cases.

What we’re looking for

4–6+ years’ QA experience, with strong mobile test automation exposure.
Hands-on experience with Appium, WebdriverIO, and ideally TypeScript.
Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for iOS and Android apps.
Strong understanding of automation strategy, test design, and CI/CD integration.
Solid API testing knowledge, including REST and JSON validation.
Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and a user-first mindset.
