Groundworks Foreman
Location: Monaghan
Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Role Overview: We are looking for a working Foreman to lead a crew on-site. You will be the bridge between the Site Manager and the ground staff, ensuring the project stays on schedule, remains safe, and hits quality targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Leading and motivating a team of groundworkers and plant operators.
- Production: Ensuring pipe laying and concrete works are completed to spec and within the allotted timeframe.
- Health & Safety: Conducting daily tool-box talks and ensuring all site safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Logistics: Ordering materials, managing plant on-site, and keeping a daily site diary.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in groundworks, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Valid Safe Pass and CSCS Health & Safety Awareness.
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems on the fly.
- Full, clean driving license.
