Warehouse Operative / Van Driver / Forklift Operator Location: Wicklow Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our growing team in Wicklow. This is a varied role combining warehouse duties, forklift operation and local deliveries. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring goods are received, stored and delivered safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities - Picking, packing and preparing customer orders. - Loading and unloading delivery vehicles. - Operating a forklift safely and efficiently (training can be provided if required). - Carrying out local deliveries and collections using a company van. - Receiving and checking incoming deliveries. - Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stock takes. - Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe. - Assisting customers collecting goods from the warehouse. - Following all company health and safety procedures. - General warehouse duties as required. Essential Requirements - Full clean Irish driving licence. - Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift and move stock. - Strong work ethic with a positive attitude. - Reliable, punctual and trustworthy. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently and use initiative. - Basic computer skills. Desirable - Valid forklift licence (preferred but not essential). - Previous warehouse or stores experience. - Experience driving vans and making customer deliveries. - Knowledge of electrical or construction products would be an advantage, but not essential.
