Connolly’s of Leap is a busy and well-known live music venue in West Cork, renowned for its atmosphere, music, and strong customer experience.
We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to lead our team ahead of the upcoming season.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service while managing a lively bar operation and has a passion for hospitality and growing the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the bar
- Leading, managing, and motivating bar staff
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Handling cashing up and ensuring accurate financial procedures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and compliance
- Coordinating efficiently during busy live music nights and events
- Assisting with staff training and scheduling
Requirements:
- Previous bar management or supervisory experience essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable, professional, and hard-working
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and throughout the busy season
- Experience with stock management and staff supervision is an advantage
