MGT Catering is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at Newlands Golf Club.
This is a varied role in a busy clubhouse environment, serving members, guests, golf societies and private functions. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, deliver excellent customer service and remain calm and organised during busy periods.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking food and drink orders
- Serving customers in the bar and restaurant
- Processing payments accurately
- Setting up and clearing tables
- Assisting with functions, golf societies and events
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Following food safety and responsible-service procedures
The ideal candidate will:
- Be friendly, professional and customer-focused
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Be reliable, punctual and well presented
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Have previous hospitality experience, although training will be provided
- Be available for a flexible roster, including daytime, evening and weekend shifts
