Job description:
The Multitask Attendant supports daily operations within the nursing home by assisting with laundry services, housekeeping, and kitchen duties. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors while following infection control, safety, and dietary guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Laundry Duties
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility laundry
- Handle soiled linens and clothing according to infection control procedures
- Operate laundry equipment safely and report maintenance issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
Housekeeping Duties
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
- Perform routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting and deepcleaning
- Properly use and store cleaning supplies and equipment
- Dispose of waste and recyclables according to facility policy
- Follow infection prevention and safety standards at all times
Kitchen Assistant Duties
- Assist with food preparation, meal setup, and tray delivery
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and dietary guidelines
- Assist kitchen staff as needed during meal service
General Responsibilities
- Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Report concerns, hazards, or resident needs to supervisors
- Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, and support staff
Person must be able to work in a fast paced enviroment while able to multitask and communicate well with teammembers
