Halo Tiles and Bathrooms is a family business celebrating over 50 years in business.
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner / Housekeeping Assistant to join our team in our modern showroom in Sandyford, Dublin. This is a part-time position offering approximately 10–12 hours per week.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring our showroom, offices, staff facilities and customer areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. As a customer-facing retail environment, cleanliness and attention to detail are essential in helping us provide an excellent experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the premises as required to maintain a clean, safe and professional environment for customers and staff.
- Sweep, mop and wash showroom floors to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Dust and clean display areas, shelving, furniture and product displays.
- Clean mirrors, glass panels, windows and other showroom surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of customer and staff toilets, ensuring supplies are replenished as required.
- Clean and maintain staff kitchen and canteen areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs and entrance areas where applicable.
- Ensure entrances, reception areas and walkways remain clean and presentable.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages or health and safety concerns to management.
- Assist with periodic deep-cleaning tasks as required.
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Undertake any other reasonable cleaning, housekeeping or hygiene-related duties as requested by management.
Your Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take pride in maintaining a professional environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Work authorisation for Ireland.
