RIGHT Group is a leading Electrical and Mechanical Engineering contractor with a strong track record delivering projects within the Water and Wastewater sector.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Tester / Inspection Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical inspections, testing, reporting and associated remedial works across a range of industrial installations.
This role will suit an experienced electrician who enjoys working independently, managing their own schedule and delivering high-quality electrical compliance inspections.
The Role
Reporting to the Programme Manager, the successful candidate will carry out:

Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR) on industrial electrical installations

Electrical inspection and verification testing

Identification of defects and non-compliances

Completion of detailed test documentation and reports

Minor remedial electrical works where required

Reviewing electrical drawings and schematics

Ensuring installations comply with current ETCI IS10101 regulations and company safety standards
The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, managing multiple sites and maintaining accurate records using digital reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities

Complete PIR testing on electrical installations of varying size and complexity

Carry out electrical testing in accordance with current regulations

Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports

Complete remedial works arising from inspections

Upload reports and documentation using tablet/laptop systems

Communicate findings clearly with the project team

Maintain excellent health and safety standards
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:

Electrical Trade Qualification
-
Minimum 5 years' industrial electrical experience

Strong experience in electrical testing and inspection
-
Experience completing Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR)

Good knowledge of ETCI IS10101 regulations

Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Strong attention to detail and reporting skills

Full clean driving licence

Safe Pass
-
Manual Handling Certificate
Desirable:

QC qualification

Experience within Water/Wastewater facilities
