Full-Time | Gourmet Food Parlour
Gourmet Food Parlour is looking for an experienced and passionate Grill Chef to join our kitchen team in Salthill.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a small, close-knit kitchen team where quality, consistency and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do. The role offers an excellent work-life balance, with predominantly daytime hours and only one late opening each week.

Prepare and cook dishes to Gourmet Food Parlour's high standards, with a focus on the grill section.

Take ownership of your section, ensuring it is organised, fully stocked and service-ready.

Deliver consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control.

Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Follow all HACCP procedures and food safety standards at all times.

Monitor stock levels within your section and minimise waste.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.

Support colleagues across the kitchen when required and contribute to a positive team culture.

Continue to develop your culinary skills and knowledge.

Minimum of 1 year's experience in a busy professional kitchen.

Previous experience working on a grill section is an advantage.

HACCP Level 2 certified (minimum).

Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.

Fluent English with good communication skills.

Hold a valid visa with full-time working rights in Ireland.

Flexible to work weekends and the occasional evening shift.

Reliable, organised and able to perform well under pressure.

A positive attitude and a genuine passion for quality food.
